ORIGINAL NAME
Rhogas kanpurensis
NOTES ON TAXONOMY
The name Rhogas kanparensis sp. nov. was proposed by M.S. Mani to the author by personal communication indicating it is close to Rhogas brevipalpis. But it was Pant in 1960 who provided the description of the egg, cocoon, and life history of the wasp accompanied by drawings of the egg, larva, cocoon and adult, as well as emended the name to kanpurensis. Thus Pant is therefore the author of the name Rhogas kanpurensis. (Pant, 1960)
